Oliver!

So many people helped to make the show go well and be believable.

The backdrop took 6 days to paint, designed by people working out their talents in service to others. Really behind the scenes.

Without props, actors would just be standing around waving their hands. Here are just a few of the ones that Helene pulled together less than 10 days before dress rehearsal. She is awesome!!! In the photo are these items: Fagin's treasure box; wash basin with hat and vest for Oliver; milk pails for "Who Will Buy" song; curtains and curtain rod for Mr. Brownlow's home; books tied up for the book seller;
basket with cat and kittens for Widow Corney's room; tray with drinking cups and pitcher for bar scene; valises for Dr. Grimwig and Mr. Brownlow.

At the end of the show Bill is shot and hangs from a safety rope. This is the Bill who hangs.....we wouldn't want to injure one of our leading men trying the real thing.
